Dr. Prabhat Yadav
Expert: Goat Health And Management & Backyard Poultry
Dr. Prabhat Yadav has completed BVSc & AH from Veterinary University Mathura, MVSc from Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), and has researched goats from CIRG. He has more than 10 years of experience and a deep understanding of commercial and community-based goat and backyard poultry programs. He has worked intensively in providing training on Goatery Backyard poultry, Piggery, and dairy animals, TOT, development of green enterprises & business models, and creating training modules, content, and need-based IEC materials. He has great experience in setting up profitable breeding and commercial Goatery farms.
Dr. Balram Sahu
Senior Expert: Ethno-Veterinary
Dr Balram Sahu has completed BVSc & AH from Orissa University, MVSc & PhD from Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI). He has retired from the position of “Joint Director” Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science Orissa. He is the founder of “Pathe Pathshala” which works on training and capacity building of farmers on ethno-vet practices. He has trained more than 70000 farmers all over India. He has a great and deep understanding of the role of ethno-veterinary practices and how our traditional vet practices might help in the development of antibiotic resistance and strengthening one health approach.
Prakash Shankar
Expert: Value Chain and Marketing
Prakash Shankar has completed Engineering (B-Tech) from IIT Dhanbad. He has vast experience in setting up value chains with many government projects. He has a deep sense of current marketing dynamics for setting a larger business plan. he has grassroots knowledge of value chain management and worked intensively for livestock and poultry birds. He has a great sense of strengthening the supply chain and management of products and byproducts. He has a deep understanding of the market-driven approach to projects.
Dr. Dheeraj Kumar
Expert: Poultry Birds
Dr. Dheeraj Kumar has completed his BVSc & AH from LUVAS, Hisar. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of poultry birds. He has a deep sense and knowledge of community-based as well as commercial projects of poultry birds. He has done intensive work in training and capacity building, feed management, and health management of poultry birds. He has a deep understanding of developing business models and setups of many advanced poultry farms. He has served almost all states of north, northeast, and central India.
Dr. Dinesh Kumar
Expert: Climate Change Based Dairy Development
Dr Dinesh Kumar has retired from the very senior position of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Uttar Pradesh. He has great experience in climate-based dairy development. Currently, he is providing his best knowledge and services to many national and international organizations on climate-changed initiatives. He has worked all over India for the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG) especially methane from large animals. He is supporting to development of bio-gas plants, ration balancing, Total Mixed Ration, and pasture management.
Dr. Arvind Kumar
Expert: Dairy and Feed Management
Dr. Arvind Kumar has completed BVSc & AH from Veterinary University Mathura, and MVSc from National Dairy Research Institute. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of dairy development, and feed management. He has worked intensively in the training and capacity building in dairy management and productivity. He has developed a value chain system for feed and milk in many dairies in UP, Haryana, and Punjab. Currently, he is working in research, management, consulting, and education, aiming to improve efficiency, sustainability, and profitability in dairy operations.

Monika Sharma has more than 10 years of experience in gender sensitization under many prestigious organizations. She has excellent knowledge and understanding of approaching the gender lens in the community. She has worked intensively for training and capacity building, modules & content development for gender.
